Exodus 17:15: And Moses built an altar. and called the name of it Jehovah-nissi;
Meditation: Jehovah-nissi, “the LORD my Banner!” is one of many compound names of God we find in the Bible. God reveals Himself as such after the battle between the Israelites and Amalek and his army. Who or what are you battling today? With God on your side “Jehovah-nissi” the battle is His, let go and give it over to the Captain of your salvation.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I have no doubt that there are some this very moment that are in the midst of a battle, perhaps multiple battles on multiple fronts. I pray that they would trust the battle into your care for if You are for us, who can be against us and prevail?
