Jeremiah 23:29: Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Meditation: Many adjectives describe the word of God and here in Jeremiah we see it as a fire and a hammer. Fire can be used in many different ways, to warm, purify etc., while hammers can be used to build or break down.
Prayer: Lord, please use your word to break up my hard heart, to warm my heart as soon as You see it begin to grow cold.
