Brandon is the Interim Pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Champaign. He has been a staff member since 2014. Brandon has a Master of Ministry Degree in addition to a degree in Business Administration. His wife Stacey is a preschool teacher with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She serves in many of the children’s ministries of the church.
OUR MOTIVATION
We love to see the gospel in action. The gospel has the power to save and transform lives. We love seeing the hopeless becoming full of hope, the addicted set free, the depressed encouraged, the fearful courageous, and the condemned redeemed. Most of all our service to Christ is like what Peter and John said: Act 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard and Paul 2Co 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead. It is out of calling and love that we serve with joy.
ABOUT US
Stacey and I were married in 2009. When we are not serving the church, we enjoy spending time together with family, traveling, & watching sports. I am a big baseball fan. I also enjoy visiting historical sites and reading. Stacey enjoys visiting antique stores and searching for primitive decor to add to our home.
our testimonies
I grew up in a church that did not teach or preach the gospel. After years of trying in my own power to be good and failing miserably I heard the life giving and life changing message of the gospel. When I was 30, I confessed that I was a sinner needing to be forgiven and trusted Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross and was baptized shortly thereafter. I experienced true joy, peace, love, and contentment for the first time. Through discipleship my love for the word of God grew as I experienced its transforming power in my own life. God began working in my heart to serve Him in full time ministry. After much growth, prayer, and Godly counsel I was ordained in 2019.
Stacey was led to the Lord by a Sunday School teacher when she was 5 years old. She went to a Christian school before getting a degree from a Bible college. She has served in the church throughout her life in many different ways including playing piano, teaching children, serving in the nursery, vacation Bible School, children’s Christmas programs, Awana, and leading the children’s choir.
